VA-212 $25 May 7, 1781
Grade:
PCGS Apparent Ch. Abt. New 58
Another very scarce low denomination note from this final Virginia issue. Although there is a toning spot and small internal tear at left, it is still one of the prettiest examples we have had the pleasure of seeing. Superbly accomplished signatures of Mark and Lyme only add to the allure of this bright and fresh note. A deeply embossed example with a light center fold that is nicer than the PCGS Apparent AU 58 note we just sold at CPMX for $517.50. The highest graded $25 note at both services combined and one which should be emphatically shown to all your friends.
