Washington Bullion Bank $3 Remainder
Grade: PMG Gem UNC 65 EPQ
Haxby 170-G24a. July 4, 1862. A somewhat better note on the Bullion Bank with this being just about the only example we have seen in this grade. It has great margins on all sides and the centering is dead on. The orange frame on the front and the bold green security design on the back make this a very popular type. The evocative Independence Day date only augments one's patriotic sense of ownership.
