MA-229 1 Shilling 6 Pence October 18, 1776
Grade: PCGS Apparent Fine 15
The much scarcer 1776 codfish issue with the face engraved and printed by Paul Revere and the back printed by John Gill from cast cuts. A rather scarce odd denomination note which we have only seen a few of over the years. PCGS has graded seven notes, all of which have received an Apparent grade. This note has edge tears of which we count exactly two. A very pretty note that has a lot going for it at the Fine 15 grade level.
