A nice looking 'E' note from the alphabet set. One of 110 small notes reported on the bank. Edwardsville is the third oldest city in Illinois, dating its first incorporation to 1818. It is named for Ninian Edwards, territorial governor of Illinois at the time and friend of one of the original settlers.
