A cool, smooth charter #12000 from this Randolph County bank. Records indicate 17 large and 22 small size notes known and all are tightly held. This note last sold in 2014. This is the only UNC example shown in the Track & Price census. Coulterville was originally laid out in 1851 as Grand Cote but changed its name before the 1872 incorporation to honor its founder, James Coulter.
