This $100 has the second bank title and there are only nine small notes recorded, with seven $50s and two $100s. This note has only a corner tip fold. Danville s land first went up for sale in 1827. By the 1850s it had become a center for industry and coal mining as one of the first uses of open pit mining. It suffered after World War 2 with the closing of the mines and the departure of much of the industry.
