This is a gorgeous note but not the AU that is listed, but no doubt the finest note on this charter. A $20 Value Back that is fresh and crisp. Clear signatures of N.H. David, President and W.H. Bliss, Cashier. Dallas City began as a riverside settlement and is named for George M. Dallas, James Polk s Vice President, as the pair were stranded in the settlement for a time before the town was incorporated in 1848. It did not gain railroad access for almost 15 years.
