A sharp Knox County bank note signed with black stamped signatures of Armstrong, President and Harrison, Cashier. This is scarce as there are only eight large notes reported. Oneida was platted in 1854 and decided the following year to host a fourth of July picnic, to which they had several thousand attendees. Oneida was incorporated in 1858 and in 1869 as a city.
