There are only six small notes reported with this charter #14008, with less than 250 sheets ever issued. In 2014 we sold an XF at $4,312. Originally Huntley s Grove, then DeKalb Centre, DeKalb was incorporated in 1856 as a village. It has been the home of Northern Illinois University since 1895 and is noted as being the home of Joseph Glidden, the father of barbed wire and has had a continuously-performing city band since 1854.
