This is a pleasing example of the second title for this bank which has only nine reported, and none better than this VF. Officer signatures of Charles Stevens, President and Hurd Comstock, Cashier. Evanston began as part of Ridgeville Township in 1850, just a few miles outside Chicago. It is the home of Northwestern University, founded in 1851 and whose founders would lead the plan to form Evanston, succeeding in 1857.
