An attractive proof by printers Rawden, Wright, Hatch & Edson with the red overprint "ONE" at the bottom. A ship sailing is the center vignette, the state seal at the left and at the right a female portrait as well as two seahorses. In 1865 this bank became a national bank of the same name. Haxby showed as SENC.
