A very impressive central vignette of the purchase of Manhattan Island by Peter Minuit in 1626 for 60 guilders. This vignette is shown on just three other notes. The left vignette shows the Indians with an open Bible and the right has two women embracing. A well chosen set of vignettes for this black and white image on India paper, mounted on card and also on an album page. Listed as SENC in Haxby.
