Located in the same county as the Cumberland, this was the town's only national bank and it's a rare one. It was chartered in 1905 and printed 1,050 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 840 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals. The quality of this note is bright and fresh, with stamped signature of M.A. Patrick, President and penned for W.W. Shultice, Cashier. This is the only Red Seal known and it came via a 2007 Heritage sale where it brought $21,850. An amazing Maryland Red Seal. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
