There were three national banks in Cecil County and this is the one that took the county name as its own. It was also the only bank that issued Red Seals. There were 2,100 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 1,360 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals printed. This is a pleasing note that came from us a decade ago. The bottom is cut barely into the design at the left but it has excellent signatures of E.V. Stockham, President and L.G. White, Cashier.
