There were four national banks chartered in this Allegany County community and half issued Red Seals. This bank issued 3,900 sheets of $10-10-10-20s, with this note being the finest by far of the two notes that have survived. This came from our offering of the G. Stern collection a decade ago at nearly $5,000. A peach of a note with excellent signatures of Lloyd Loundes, Vice President and D.F.
