Dillon, Montana, hosted two national banks, but one issued Brown backs only and is as yet unreported. This more collectible bank began during the Territorial days and issued through small size. Sometime in there they printed 2,890 sheets of Red Seals. While large notes are occasionally available (19 are known), this Red Seal is unique. Actually, there are just 15 Red Seals known on the entire state! In addition to being rare, it is a beauty as well. The paper is original and bright, the margins good and the bank signatures are a real plus. Even the most gun-shy collector would have a hard time finding a reason not to buy this peach. This is the first opportunity collectors have had to purchase this note in probably 20 years. Signed by B. F. White, President, and J. H. Gilbert, Cashier. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
