While three national banks represented this Dallas County community only this bank issued Red Seals. It was chartered in 1904 and printed 8,500 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 7,400 sheets of $10-10-10-20. This note is new to the census and is far superior to the other two notes reported. It is said that this note is the first one received at Tepper's Department Store in Selma. Signatures of E.C.
