There were two national banks in this Colbert County community but only this bank issued Red Seals, their earliest notes after the charter originated in 1903. There were 3,200 sheets printed of the $10-10-10-20 Red Seals. This is the only Red Seal known. Excellent pen signatures of S. McGaughy, President and J.S. Hatch, Assistant Cashier.
