Fr. 615 $10 1902RS
Grade:

This is one of three banks in the state capital to issue Red Seals. The bank was chartered in 1906 and Red Seals were the first type issued, with 6,000 sheets of $10-10-10-20. There are only two surviving examples, both about the same grade. This is the first title and there are only four large notes recorded. Both Red Seals came from the G. Loegler Collection in 2003. Signed by Louis B. Farley, President and J.J. Flowers, Cashier. The bottom was cut a bit tight but it's a rarity for sure. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
