This is one of the better Lexington banks, especially with the first title. Eight notes have been recorded under the Third National Bank nomenclature and only two of those have been Red Seals. The bank issued 2,000 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals and 2,166 sheets of $50-100, although no high denomination notes have surfaced. This example is evenly circulated with nice signatures of W.J. Loughbridge, President and J. Aliceanden, Cashier.
