This was one of the seven national banks located in this major city. Out of the 23 reported large notes on this bank, four are Red Seals. Certainly none could be as nice as this note, which looks CU but has a well hidden sheet fold across the bottom. The Second National Bank had a multi-million dollar issue which included 7,500 sheets of Red Seals. Purple stamped signatures of David James, President and Geo.
