This #1 Red Seal is from the better of the two Red Seal-issuing banks in town. Organized in 1907, the bank's earliest issued notes were 2,085 sheets of $5-$5-$5-$5 and 1,666 sheets of $10-$10-$10-$20. In spite of this, only three Red Seals remain known to collectors, with this the only #1 and the finest in grade. With a stamped signature of E. A.
