This was the only national bank in town and it was chartered in 1884, issuing Brown Backs before Red Seals. They printed 500 $5-$5-$5-$5 sheets and 2,651 $10-$10-$10-$20 sheets of Red Seals. This note is new to the Iowa census and it's the fourth Red Seal on the bank. It has excellent pen signatures and even wear. Acquired in 2001 from D.
