Although 6,000 Red Seal sheets were printed for this bank, only three of the 12 notes reported are from those sheets. Two later banks came to town but neither issued Red Seals. This example has a bold red overprint and is free of any major problems. The pen signature of G.H. Hampton, Cashier is strong, but the stamped signature of John Russell, President has faded considerably.
