There were seven national banks in this central Iowa city and three issued Red Seals. This bank issued 7,700 $10-$10-$10-$20 sheets and only four have survived - five with this one - and it's as nice as the best. Acquired from J. Gulde in 2002. The signatures were blue and barely a glimmer of them remains to be read, but they should be F. F.
