This bank was chartered in 1891 as the First National Bank was closing. They issued just 1882 Date Backs and Brown Backs; issuing only 6,576 sheets before closing in 1910. This is the finest known, by a wide margin, of the bank's two known notes. A fabulous rarity, previously from the DeGood collection, that has great color, boardwalk margins and impressive signatures.
