Grade:

This was the town's first national bank. It was chartered in 1864 and did business until 1897 when it was liquidated. There were only 1,700 Lazy Deuces printed and there are only five surviving examples, including this Deuce, two $1s and two $10 Brown Backs. There have only been two public offerings of the five notes reported. This Deuce is quite pleasing with clear pen signatures. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
