185_. Another sensational $2 proof from The Exchange Bank at Lockport but this one is unique. Very similar in design to the previous note, except this one has the very popular DeWitt Clinton portrait between two very large red "2" overprints. There are counters on all four corners with the New York state seal to the left. An amazing GEM card proof, listed as SENC. This is the first offering of this proof since the 1990 ABN sale. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate A). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
