185_. The third and final piece from The Exchange Bank at Lockport is a $3 proof. It has three very ornate counters and the New York state seal one corner. The proof features the portrait of George Washington with large "3" overprints on both sides. Just like its $2 counterpart listed here, this proof is also unique and it's the first offering since the ABN ale. It is listed as SENC. Imprint of Danforth, Wright & Co. Printed on India paper and mounted on card (Plate A). No ABNC stamp on back. From the Eastern Collection.
