Denver, NB, W3269
Fr. 598 $5 1902ND
Grade: XF
A desirable high-grade note from Denver's second largest bank, in spite of the poor cut. On the positive side, the note, having never really entered circulation, exhibits fresh paper and just four storage folds. From the Rocky Mountain Collection. ---- Denver was founded in November 1858 as a mining town during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush in western Kansas Territory. The rush began in July 1858 and lasted until roughly the creation of the Colorado Territory on February 28, 1861. An estimated 100,000 gold seekers took part in one of the greatest gold rushes in North American history. Denver was a frontier town, with an economy based on servicing local miners with gambling, saloons, livestock and goods trading.
Current Bid: $ 325.00
