Grade:
PCGS Ch. Abt. New 58 PPQ
I had this note graded because I thought it was UNC, not 58 PPQ. It has great color, lovely stamped signatures and beautiful paper quality. Bids on this note could easily surpass my expectations. One of 61 large notes reported. From the Rocky Mountain Collection. ---- Denver was founded in November 1858 as a mining town during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush in western Kansas Territory. The rush began in July 1858 and lasted until roughly the creation of the Colorado Territory on February 28, 1861. An estimated 100,000 gold seekers took part in one of the greatest gold rushes in North American history. Denver was a frontier town, with an economy based on servicing local miners with gambling, saloons, livestock and goods trading.
