Sixteen notes, being sets of cancelled company scrip from various Portsmouth businesses. All are in high grade and attractive. First is a set of three from Excelsior Shoe, with foxing on back of the $1. Next is a set of four from Irving Drew with clip shadow. The $5 has an area of light foxing. Third is a set of four from Ohio Stove, with the 25˘ and $5 showing clip rust, the others with shadow. Last is a five piece set from Selby Shoe with light clip shadow. The back of the $10 is soiling, but not the face. An excellent gathering of company scrip that is not so easy to locate any more.
