Nine piece lot. First is a three piece set from Lexington attached to an explanatory sheet giving background information on this issue, all in high grade. Ohio issues begin with a $1 from Ada Boosters in unusually good condition considering its 20-time passage as money from hand to hand (signatures on back). The Ashtabula Star-Beacon newspaper $1 issue is uncanceled; it has clip shadow. An Ashtabula bank $1 issue is cancelled and has an area of foxing. There are three cancelled examples of Community Scrip from Berea, two for the higher value starting at 99˘ and one for starting value of 49˘. Each time these were used, their face value was lowered by 1˘. Two of these scarce pieces have an area of foxing.
