Six piece lot. First is a cellophane envelope from Berkeley, made to hold a dollar note. Next are two well-used examples of the Carmel-By-The-Sea stamp scrip dollars (including a background letter). This is followed by a very scarce dollar issue from Chico in high grade even with clip shadow. Last are two pieces issued by the Los Angeles Co-operative exchange, both with some foxing areas. One of the Los Angeles pieces is made out to Moritz Wormser, a well-known numismatist of the 1930s and 1940s who ran New Netherlands Coin Company in New York for some years. Good collector lot.
