CA-309-5. January 1, 1867. Printed signatures. A beautiful and fancy blue-green note. The obverse vignettes are of a man in the lower left (possibly J.P. Heald), the California state seal on the right and a small eagle with arrows on the bottom center. Reverse has text in a fancy, geometric design oval. Imprint: Lith. Britton-Rey, S.F. Although lithographed, this note has the appearance of an engraved note. One of the better looking and most impressive of the college notes.
