This and the previous lot are the centerpieces of the Billy Key collection Part II. This is one of two known $2 Federal Reserve Notes exhibiting the solid serial #99999999. The other known note is the $2 2003-A #B99999999B. The existence of these two notes may come as a surprise to many folks, as neither have ever traded hands at auction. This amazing note looks amazing displayed side by side with the $2 Legal Tender #D99999999A from the previous lot. If you're going to "stretch" for a note or two, this and the previous Deuce are clearly the ones to do so.
