Referring again to the Schwart - Lindquist Standard Guide to Small Size U. S. Paper Money 1928 to Date, we find the POSSIBLE number of $2 LT #99999999s that may have been printed: series 1928 - zero, 1928-A - one, 1928-B - zero, 1928-C - one, 1928-D - one, 1928-E - zero, 1928-F - zero, 1928-G - one, 1953 - zero, 1953-A - zero, 1953-B - zero, 1953-C - zero, 1963 - zero and 1963-A - zero. So only four $2 Legal Tender serial # 999999999's appear to have been printed. What makes this note even more alluring is the existence of the #E00000001A from the same series. Combining these two wonderful notes to form the only known $2 Legal Tender rollover pair would be quite an accomplishment. Adding to the appeal is the wonderful state of preservation. This note in any condition would command a major price, but with the grade of Gem, this ultimate rarity should bring a record price.
