This note last appeared in a 2001 CAA sale where it was graded AU and realized $34,100. Since then a PCGS 58 brought $62,100 the October 2005 Rickey Collection and a VF brought $48,875 in a January 2008 Heritage sale and. A bright, nicely centered note that has excellent body and is one of only 11 serial numbers known. Collectors get excited about these large red seals and they are elusive by signature combination as well. These are classics of American paper money. PCGS note repaired pinhole.
