Chickasha was the home to four national banks and this bank was founded in 1900 only two months after the First National Bank. The First National Bank issued 390 sheets of $50-$100 Brown Backs and this bank issued 1,000 two note sheets of $50-$100 Brown Backs. This is #453 and is only the second offering of this rarity sold by Kurt Kreuger in 1986. There is a $50/$100 double denomination from New Mexico Territory, otherwise I can only find seven from the rest of America. Notes like this are classic rarities and just image what $100 would buy in the Indian Territory at that time. Some restoration.
