Guthrie became the Territorial capital of Oklahoma after the 1889 Land Rush and about 10,000 soon settled in the new capital. G.E. Billingsley or Chas. signed this note as president. The bank was chartered in 1892 and closed in 1904 after issuing 3,591 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Brown Backs. There are a mere three notes reported on this bank.
