This is a wonderful $5 Brown Back that is the only one known on the bank. There are a $10 and $20 Brown Back in the census as well but they are much lower grade. The other 16 large notes reported are Blue Seals and we are talking about a Brown Back here! There were 15 issuing banks of $5 Brown Backs and only 13 notes are reported from the entire state.
