Established in 1897, the National Bank of Seneca only issued large denomination notes, in both large and small size. The bank issued two different types of 1882 Date Back sheets which included 300 sheets of a single $50-$100 and 180 sheets of the $50-50-50-100, or a total of 840 $50 1882 Date Backs. This note is one of just two known on the state. This $50 bears a low bank serial #7. A fresh note although the margins are not as large as one would like, but what can you do? From the C.
