Grade:

This bank was the only one chartered in this Bosque County community. It was chartered in 1904 and closed before 1910 ended. They issued 3,750 sheets of $5, $10 and $20 Red Seals, with just three Red Seals known, as has been the case since 2001. There is a sheet of 1902 Date Backs in the Moody holdings, but not publicly available. This note is evenly circulated with excellent stamped signatures of J.W. Butler, President and F.M. Frey, Cashier. A rare location in nice shape. Ex. Irish, Ivy, and Lipka Collections.
