September 2, 1861. Wow. That is what we said when we saw this note. This is one of the most eye-appealing, bright and colorful T-24 notes that we can recall, having exceptional margins as well. A deeply embossed example that is as bright as the day it was printed with perhaps a couple corner folds too many for the full XF grade. For a type that is typically found in the VG to Fine + grade range this example is a breath of fresh air, and much like the T-17 listed here, a superlative candidate for one's ultimate circulated type set.
