Dated November 1, 1893 for one share. A superbly margined and elaborately detailed note with a machine punched serial #2829. Signatures are of Dixon as Secretary and Carlson as President, with Carlson also acting as Trustee on the back of the note. The portrait at left is that of Tom Scott, who apparently was 'The Father of the Texas & Pacific Route.' Three known that we are aware of with the only other auction appearance we can find a VF/XF example that realized $1,275 a couple of years ago.
