Poet Paul Lawrence Dunbar is the namesake of this Harlem institution, one of only a pair of banks operated by African Americans. It also bears the much scarcer Woods-Tate signature combination. Bright and superbly margined with great centering and mountainous embossing. A bank well known for its supply of low serial number sheets, although that does not seem to hamper its valuation in the least. This year a $10 with serial #7, grading PMG 64 (NO EPQ) sold for $1,880. In the doldrums of the 2009 market we sold serial #14, also PMG 64 (no EPQ) for $1,150 and a few years ago serial #19, PCGS 64 (no PPQ) for about $1,100. This is what statistical analysts call a trend.
