VA-194 $300 October 16, 1780
Grade:
PCGS XF 40
One of the nicest rice paper notes that we have seen we have seen from any issue with any XF note in a comment-free holder a real find. For the entire October 1780 issue both services have only graded eight notes in XF grade, seven of which are only XF 40 (out of over 100 notes total). An absolutely lovely example without a hint of a problem that is worthy of the finest of collections. For a change, the Newman value is abysmally low. In our CPMX sale we sold a $200 note in a PCGS Apparent VF 30 holder, due to a corner repair, for around $500. This note is so far better than that one adjectives fail your cataloger.
