Lot #2938 - T-39 $100 July 24, 1862 Nathaniel O. Tilton

Confederate Notes

T-39 $100 July 24, 1862 Nathaniel O. Tilton
Grade: PMG UNC 62     PMG
A very pretty train note that spent a lot of time in the state of Georgia which we can tell from the interest-paid stamps. Probably worth $200 or so on its own merits but far more valuable due to the presence of its issuance on Aug. 9th, 1862 by Nath(aniel) O. Tilton, Captain and Assistant Quarter Master of the 25th Regiment, Georgia Infantry. This same note realized over $500 just a couple of years ago and it is the highest graded Tilton issued note we have seen.
Current Bid: $ 475.00

Estimate: ($ 650.00 - $ 950.00)
