T-39 $100 July 25, 1862 Contemporary Counterfeit
Grade: PCGS XF 40
A lovely, high grade contemporary counterfeit that is easily recognized (although apparently not by PCGS) due to the diagnostic of six windows on the third passenger coach instead of the usual seven. The XF grade seems a little harsh when one considers that there aren't any real folds, just a bunch of paper wrinkling and a couple of trace bends.
