MD-63 $1/3 April 10, 1774
Grade:
PCGS Apparent New 62
Lovely uncirculated examples of even this most common Maryland issue are scarce but particularly so for this denomination. Virtually all the high-grade notes that are known have whole denominations or the $2/3 note; of all the other fractional denomination notes they are rarely encountered in CU grade. The sharpness of printing on this piece is unrivaled and the margins are those of a near Gem. A light brown glue strip is seen at back right but does nothing to affect how this note faces up.
